At Coconut World, we are committed to offering you the highest quality superfoods and in the process, educating you about their natural goodness. We are also committed to helping the communities of coconut farmers in many parts of the world. Coconut World trades directly with farm co-operatives, allowing the farmers to capture a greater share of the market value. We also work closely with both governmental and non-profit based poverty reduction projects that help to educate, empower and support rural farming communities.
Our first culinary treat is 100% All-Natural Coconut Sugar, made from the sap of the unopened flowerbud stalks. It has a distinct sweet aroma and a pleasing, light caramel flavor. This delectable sweetener is considered a healthy alternative to cane sugar due to a low glycemic index of 35 (cane sugar=68) and a natural high nutrient content.
The coconut tree is considered the "Tree of Life" by many countries. It provides an endless list of by-products, from its roots to its leaves, culinary and non-culinary, that are used to sustain lives and livelihoods.
