Mommy on a Mission Inventor Pamela Gonzalez says, “Sleep
Deprivations …The Mother of My Invention”, when asked how she came up with the
Tot clock.
Innovative and unique, the
Tot Clock not only teaches young ones about the times of the day and routine,
but does it in a fun, colorful, musical way.
About My Tot Clock:
“My Tot Clock is an all-in-one sleep aid, alarm clock, nightlight, and
timer for children ages 2+. It teaches little ones when to sleep (blue light)
and when it's okay to get out of bed (yellow light). It also plays bedtime stories,
lullabies, fun wake music, and even white noise (like ocean sounds)! As an
added bonus, My Tot Clock has
a light blue light for nap time, a red light for timeout, and a green light for
any positive timed activity. Perfect for those young enough to start learning a
daily routine, but not old enough to be able to tell time. Also great for
their sleepy parents! Guaranteed better sleep or your money back!”
I love how she utilizes the senses for youngsters in
changing the colors on the clock for specific times of day. This works great for those who aren’t ready
yet to learn their numbers and tell the time. They don’t need to yell “MOM can
I get up now?” If the clock is yellow then yes you can, if it is blue, nope!
Sure makes Mom’s life a little simpler. It does take the
organizing to get the clock set up obviously in the beginning, but it wasn’t
too techno or anything like that.
We tended to utilize the night time and day time features
most. My son doesn’t take naps so we didn’t need a nap portion. We did try the
time out one a few times and it worked great!
I only wish that I would have had this clock when my 4 year
old was 2 and struggling to sleep in his own bed. Pamela and her team did extensive research
with her own children and others to show how helpful this clock was in getting
the children to go to bed at night and get used to the idea of sleeping. That
is amazing to me!! You have got to take some time to read through her story of
the concept to finished product, it will energize you http://www.mytotclock.com/our_story.php
Revolutionary Concept and of course designed by a MOM!!!
We loved this clock and were blessed to be able to review
for Pamela and her team!! She is graciously giving one of A Year of Jubilee
Readers a Tot clock for their sleepless little ones!!

I think this is the most complete clock out there for a sleep aid - my favorite feature is that the start function for both naps and evening sleep can be manually started for those days you need to slightly adjust schedules without having to reprogram. We're pretty consistent, but who doesn't have a few naps/evenings a week where the schedule changes???? The inventor really has thought of everything!
I like that you can stop/start bedtime/waketime modes at anytime in case "life happens!"
I love the blue / yellow colors and this clock will help my son with learning to tell time with his own personal clock!
